On that fateful evening, a series of coordinated assaults targeted six locations across the City of Light, claiming the lives of 130 innocent people and injuring hundreds more.

A Night of Horror The attacks began at 9:20 pm with explosions outside the Stade de France, where France was playing Germany in a soccer match.

Simultaneously, gunmen stormed the Bataclan concert hall, where Eagles of Death Metal were performing, and opened fire on the crowd.

Other locations, including cafes and restaurants, were also targeted.

Global Outrage and Solidarity As the City of Light went dark, monuments around the world lit up in solidarity. Iconic landmarks such as the One World Trade Center in New York City, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, among many others, were illuminated in the colors of the French Tricolore - blue, white, and red.

.

This powerful display of unity and support sent a resounding message: the world stood with France against terrorism and violence.

Tributes and Remembrance The 2015 American Music Awards, held just days after the attacks, provided a poignant platform for tribute.

Celine Dion's emotional performance of "L'Hymne à l'Amour" (Hymn to Love), a classic French ballad, brought the audience to its feet.

Her voice, filled with sorrow and conviction, honored the victims and captured the spirit of resilience.
